Setting
Up Email
Before you can use an email account you first
need to create it.
If we created your site, you can request an email
addresses and we will create it for you.
Once you've created it you can access it through
two different ways:
Mail Client or WebMail
Mail Client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Entourage)
Mail clients such as Outlook and Outlook Express are installed on your computer. In addition to sending and receiving email, they often have calendars, contact lists and task lists.
You will need to configure these mail clients to get your email. Here is the basic information you will need, more specific directions are below.
POP: mail.yourdomainname.com (or mail.trailhead.com if you get an error message)
SMTP: ask your ISP for their SMTP server address or use mail.yourdomainname.com*
Username: Your complete email address.
Password: This was sent to you in a welcome email or you created it in your control panel.
*Some ISPs will require you to use their SMTP server address.
You will need to contact your ISP for this information.

WebMail (Web Based Email Clients)
We offer two web based email clients SquirrelMail or DWMail - choose whichever you prefer or use them interchangeably.
SquirrelMail is a simple and fast webmail program - its not fancy but it works.

DWMail is a more full featured webmail program offering a better contact list, a calendar as well as rich html email editing.

WebMail Login (Username)
Your complete email address (ex. support@trailhead.com)
WebMail Password
Same as your email address password
